Staying Safe Online FREE Workshop on Wednesday 27 November 2017
Join us for an informal tea party event with a presentation on ways in which older people can help keep themselves safe online, followed by Question & Answer session.
A marketplace of stalls will be onsite (in the Bill Buck room) for attendees to chat to stallholders such as WSCC Library Service e-resources, Community Safety and 02 Digital Gurus.
This event is aimed at:
- Members of the public
- Community/voluntary sector – community and special interest groups
- Volunteers / Carers
The presentation will include basics of staying safe online, online risks and threats as well as some of the current common scams.
Tea and cakes will be available for all attendees visiting the Marketplace
